Message from our Founder & Executive Director
Hello, Philadelphia!
If you’ve found your way here, I hope you came with a sense of hope and the strength that’s carried you this far. Whatever challenges you’re facing, please know this: there is help, and there is healing. At Linked Family Services (LFS), our mission is to walk alongside you as you advocate for yourself, your children, and your family. Just by arriving here, you’ve taken a powerful first step—and that’s something to be proud of.
For nearly 15 years, I’ve worked in child welfare and human services across Philadelphia, helping children and families access the care, resources, and support they deserve. From hosting family events and leading support groups to coordinating resource fairs and maternal health programming, my work has always centered on strengthening families and building community.
This work is deeply personal to me. As a Black maternal health advocate, my passion is rooted in my own traumatic birth experiences and lived realities. I know firsthand what it means to feel unseen or unheard in moments that matter most. That’s why I created LFS—to be a space where women, children, and families are truly supported, believed, and cared for.
At LFS, we see you. We believe in your potential. And we’re here to support you—one step, one resource, and one relationship at a time.
You are welcome here. You belong.
