Linked Family Services Pads & Pencils: A Back-to-School Event

Pads & Pencils is a powerful back-to-school event created to support girls ages 8–18 and their mother figures as they navigate the journey of puberty, periods, and personal confidence. In the fight against period poverty, we’re showing up with dignity, education, and community.

Two dynamic mental health professionals, Tamera Cox and McKenzie Nash, will speak to attendees about self-esteem, body image, and emotional wellness—equipping girls to feel confident and cared for in school halls and beyond.
