Tiny Essentials Relief Hub Program

Prevention Through Access

The Tiny Essentials Relief Hub is Linked Family Services' signature prevention platform designed to reduce caregiver stress, strengthen family stability, and increase access to essential resources before challenges escalate into crises.

Grounded in a prevention-first, family-centered approach, the Relief Hub pairs concrete supports with prevention-focused family support, resource navigation, and educational programming that strengthens protective factors, promotes caregiver wellness, and addresses the Health-Related Social Needs (HRSNs) that impact family well-being.

Families access the Relief Hub through multiple coordinated pathways, allowing services to be tailored based on each family's needs while maintaining a consistent focus on early intervention, relationship-building, and community connection.

Through family support services, community partnerships, wellness initiatives, workshops, and access to essential items, the Tiny Essentials Relief Hub serves as a trusted entry point into Linked Family Services' broader continuum of prevention-focused care for families across Philadelphia.

What We Offer Through the Relief Hub

The Tiny Essentials Relief Hub includes a growing network of prevention initiatives designed to support families at multiple stages of caregiving and wellness.

The Tiny Essentials Relief Hub provides eligible families with access to diapers, wipes, infant formula (when available), hygiene products, and other essential baby items through a structured, appointment-based model. Families also receive prevention-focused family support, resource navigation, and connections to community services that address immediate needs and promote long-term stability. By reducing caregiver stress and increasing access to basic necessities, we help strengthen protective factors before challenges become crises.

Our parenting classes equip caregivers with practical tools to strengthen parent-child relationships and support healthy child development. Participants learn strategies for communication, positive discipline, emotional regulation, child safety, and building nurturing family environments. These classes empower caregivers with knowledge and confidence while reinforcing the protective factors that help families thrive.

The Bridge & Anchor Youth Initiative provides youth and families with opportunities to build confidence, develop leadership skills, and strengthen positive relationships through educational and enrichment experiences. Programming encourages resilience, personal growth, community engagement, and healthy decision-making in a safe and supportive environment. By investing in young people before challenges escalate, we help create stronger families and brighter futures.

Our Parent-Child Interaction Experiences create intentional opportunities for caregivers and children to learn, play, and grow together. Through interactive activities, family engagement events, and shared learning experiences, families strengthen their relationships while supporting early childhood development. Positive interactions between caregivers and children help build secure attachments, resilience, and lifelong family connections.

Caregiver & Child Wellness

Our Caregiver & Child Wellness programming promotes the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of both caregivers and children through wellness-focused experiences and education. Activities may include movement classes, yoga, infant massage, nutrition education, and other opportunities that encourage healthy lifestyles and stress reduction. Supporting caregiver wellness strengthens the entire family and creates healthier environments where children can flourish.

Prenatal & Perinatal Support Groups

Our prenatal and perinatal support groups provide a welcoming community for expecting and new parents during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Facilitated by experienced professionals, groups offer education, encouragement, and peer support on topics such as maternal mental health, infant care, postpartum adjustment, and self-care. By fostering connection and reducing isolation, these groups help families build strong foundations from the very beginning.

Safe-Sleep Training

Our Safe Sleep Trainings provide caregivers with evidence-based education to help create safe sleep environments for infants and reduce the risk of sleep-related infant deaths. Participants learn current recommendations on safe sleep practices, infant sleep safety, and common misconceptions while gaining practical tips they can implement at home. By equipping families with knowledge and resources, we help caregivers feel confident in providing the safest possible start for their babies.
