About Us
HISTORY
Linked Family Services began in 2018 as Hearts of Gold Mentoring PA, a grassroots program focused on mentoring and community support. In its early years, Hearts of Gold hosted empowerment socials for mothers, back-to-school drives, and other one-time events to meet immediate needs and encourage families.
As the vision expanded, the name Linked Family Services was adopted as a DBA in 2023 to reflect a broader mission centered on family engagement, maternal wellness, and community connection. In 2025, the organization formally changed its name to Linked Family Services.
While the name has evolved, our commitment remains the same: strengthening families, preventing crises, and creating healthier communities.

MISSION
At Linked Family Services (LFS), our mission is to bridge the gap between parental & caregiver wellness and child welfare prevention (involvement) by reducing family stress and increasing access to essential supports during critical stages of caregiving.
As a prevention-driven, family-centered agency, we provide responsive, culturally grounded programs — including our signature Tiny Essentials Relief Hub, parenting classes, and events — that promote strengthening protective factors and parenting capacities, development-centered parenting skills, birth equity, and access to essential care and resources.
Through our commitment to early support, reducing ACE risk, family-centered care, and trauma-informed practice, we work to interrupt cycles of crisis and create the conditions for long-term wellness, stability, and generational healing — one family at a time.
VISION
We envision a world where birth equity is a given, every child begins life in stability and love, and no parent has to navigate the journey alone. Families are connected to resources, communities respond with compassion, and cycles of inequity give way to generational healing and opportunity. Linked Family Services is building a future where equity and dignity define every family’s story.
