Restoring Family Values: A Pathway to Value-Based Parenting
COHORT 2 REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!
Restoring Family Values: A Pathway to Value-Based Parenting is a trauma-informed parenting program designed to empower caregivers with practical tools, reflection, and family-centered support. Grounded in cultural awareness and real-life parenting challenges, the class helps parents strengthen communication, co-parenting, discipline strategies, stress management, emotional awareness, and overall family values.
As part of Linked Family Services’ 2026 Prevention Enhancements to the Tiny Essentials Relief Hub Program, this class was created to strengthen families before crisis and increase protective factors within the home.
This structured parenting class is open to both self-referrals and agency referrals and is ideal for parents with involvement through DHS, CUA, Family Court, Child Support Court, or other child welfare-related systems.
Participants receive:
✅ A parenting workbook
✅ Weekly lunch and refreshments
✅ Transportation support (SEPTA assistance available if needed)
✅ Family support items and incentives
✅ Certificate of Completion
Parents are expected to attend regularly, arrive on time, participate respectfully, and engage throughout the course. While participation may be voluntary for some families and required for others, all participants are expected to contribute to a respectful and focused learning environment.
At Linked Family Services, we believe parenting classes play an important role in helping caregivers build confidence, strengthen relationships with their children, and develop healthier approaches to communication, discipline, and family stability.
