Linked Family Services is growing—and we are intentionally expanding our Board of Directors with leaders who believe in strengthening families before crisis occurs.

Our Board of Directors provides governance, strategic oversight, professional expertise, and connections that help LFS remain sustainable, responsive, and positioned for long-term impact. We are looking for individuals who are excited to lend their knowledge, perspective, and networks to an organization committed to family well-being and child welfare prevention.

Law & Legal Affairs
Nonprofit Leadership & Governance
Finance & Accounting
Fundraising & Development
Early Childhood Education
Health Care
Human Services & Social Services
Policymaking & Public Systems
Community Engagement & Partnerships

Prior nonprofit board experience is welcomed but not required. We are equally interested in individuals who bring strong professional expertise, lived experience, community knowledge, strategic relationships, and a genuine commitment to our mission.

What Board Service Looks Like

LFS Board members help guide the organization's strategic direction, provide governance and fiduciary oversight, strengthen organizational sustainability, expand relationships and resources, and champion the work of Linked Family Services within their professional and community networks.
Board members are expected to participate in quarterly Board meetings, review materials in preparation for meetings, contribute their expertise and perspective, and support LFS through relationship-building, resource development, strategic introductions, and other activities aligned with their individual strengths and capacity.
Board members also make a $100 annual personal contribution to Linked Family Services.

Most importantly, we are looking for people who believe families deserve access to meaningful support before challenges become crises.
