Through interactive workshops, meaningful conversations, and shared experiences, we're helping families build confidence, strengthen relationships, and promote lifelong reproductive health and wellness.

ABOUT PADS & PENCILS
Pads & Pencils is Linked Family Services' annual girls' empowerment event that brings together young ladies ages 8–18 and their caregivers for a day of education, connection, and celebration. Created to address period poverty while fostering healthy conversations about reproductive health, the event provides a welcoming space where families can learn, grow, and build stronger relationships together.In recognition of International Day of the Girl and Period Action Day, participants engage in interactive workshops, confidence-building activities, and meaningful discussions designed to promote body positivity, emotional wellness, and open communication across generations. Caregivers gain tools to confidently support the girls in their lives while also exploring their own wellness journeys.
At Linked Family Services, we believe that when girls are equipped with knowledge, supported by trusted adults, and provided with essential resources, they are empowered to thrive.
