Maternal mental health matters.

Yet too many mothers and birthing people experience stress, anxiety, depression, grief, isolation, and life transitions without the support they need. At Linked Family Services, we believe that healing happens in community and that every parent deserves a safe place to be seen, heard, and supported.

Walk With Me: The MotherRoot Project was created to address maternal mental health through connection, education, therapeutic support, and practical resources. Designed for pregnant individuals and new parents, this initiative provides opportunities to build community, strengthen coping skills, explore challenges related to pregnancy and postpartum life, and access support before challenges become crises.

Through our monthly Perinatal Therapy Support Group, participants engage in conversations around maternal mental health, stress management, relationships, self-care, birth trauma, grief and loss, identity changes, and resilience. Participants may also be eligible for short-term individual therapy and referrals to trusted community partners for longer-term support when needed.

The MotherRoot Project reflects our belief that strong roots create strong families. As the initiative grows, families can look forward to expanded support opportunities, wellness experiences, community gatherings, educational workshops, and partnerships designed to promote maternal well-being and family stability.

No parent should have to walk alone. Through the MotherRoot Project, we're building a community where support, healing, and hope can take root.
